
Linda Richards is Professor of Neuroscience and Deputy Director (Research) at the Queensland Brain Institute. Professor Richards is also one of AusDoCC’s most revered scientific advisors and AusDoCC’s first ever Patron.
It’s gives us great pleasure in congratulating Linda on her Order of Australia in the Queen’s birthday Honour Awards. Professor Richards received this award for her “distinguished service to medical research and education in the field of developmental neurobiology and to science and community engagement in science.”
Professor Richards is a renowned international expert on the development and formation of the corpus callosum and brain cancer. She has received many awards and fellowships and her appointments in the scientific community are numerous.
Professor Linda Richards works tirelessly to support the organisations she belongs to, particularly with us here at AusDoCC. Linda is one of our strongest champions and is a key presenter and supporter at all our major events.
We are absolutely honoured to have a close working relationship with one of the best.
