​​As a child I lived on a dairy farm in South Gippsland Victoria until I was 10 years old Then we moved to Vermont 15 miles east of Melbourne. I left a small school in the country with 23 students and 6 days later I started at Vermont State school, 800 students. In some ways I think I have not recovered from the shock of it to this day.
